The Challenge
Pesky Buggers delivers reliable, effective pest control, but their old website wasn’t doing that reputation justice. It felt outdated, was hard to use, and didn’t reflect the professionalism of the business. In an industry where local companies compete against big national and international brands, a strong online presence isn’t optional.
The owner had built the original site himself on Wix, and while he got it online, the learning curve was steep. ICPs, DNS, SEO, CSS, CTAs: it quickly became an alphabet soup of things to figure out on top of running a business. Even after the time it took to get the site live, keeping it updated became one more task on an already full plate.
What We Did
That’s where our Monthly Web Design Package came in. It gave Pesky Buggers a professionally designed website, ongoing support, and a team to maintain their online presence, all for one low monthly fee with zero startup costs. That freed up the owner to spend less time wrestling with the website and more time doing what he does best: getting rid of pesky buggers.
A few months later, Pesky Buggers came back and asked us to rebrand. We created a new logo, colour scheme, and typography built to represent them more professionally in the market they wanted to compete in and to stand out from the competition. We then applied the new branding to the website at no additional cost, since it was included as an update under their monthly package.
The Result
Since the new website went live, Jared has seen a steady increase in form submissions, enough to keep him busy on the pest control side while WBC Designs keeps the website running and looking sharp.
