Rising Tides Halifax needed a brand identity and website that matched the professionalism of the organization and its members, but the website couldn’t stand alone. The organization already relied on a custom application, built by one of its own members, to track visitor invites, absences, referrals, event postings, and membership applications. Any new website had to connect cleanly into that system rather than duplicate it or work around it.
What We Did
We started with the logo and a full brand guide, defining colour palette, typography, and usage rules so Rising Tides Halifax would have one consistent identity across their website, social media, and member materials.
From there, we designed and built the new website, including the visitor and membership application forms, and connected those forms directly to the organization’s custom application through an API. That meant a visitor signing up or a prospective member applying through the website feeds straight into the same system Rising Tides already uses to manage invites, attendance, and referrals, with no manual re-entry required.
Beyond the site, we set up Rising Tides Halifax’s social media pages and designed accompanying graphics, along with member badge graphics that individual members can display on their own websites to show their affiliation.
The Result
Rising Tides Halifax now has one cohesive brand across their logo, website, social media, and member materials, all built to reflect the credibility of the organization and its members. The website integrates seamlessly with the tracking system the organization already depends on, and the member badges extend that same brand presence out across the websites of Rising Tides’ own membership.
